This outfitter was highly recommended to me by an experienced life long elk hunter. My guide Ryan was first class. We glassed many good good bulls opening morning, but the wind was wrong, so we watched until they bedded down for the day. We backed out and made plans for an evening hunt. Ryan put me on a 6�7 330" bull. By the second morning of season the camp has already killed 5 good bulls.
My dad, husband, and I just completed a 3-day pronghorn hunt in New Mexico with BMO, and we had the best experience! Our guides, Reno and Ryan, went above and beyond throughout the entire hunt. They were hardworking, knowledgeable, and great to hunt with. Their extra effort made harvesting three antelope possible for all three of us. I had the opportunity to hunt with Black Mountain Outfitters on a archery tag on private land. I found success on the very first day of my hunt, taking down a big old bull. That definitely doesn’t to many I’m sure. Right place, right time! Big shout out to my guide Joey P. That call my Bull elk in from nearly a mile away.
