April was amazing to work with, we had a unique time crunch, and she was professional and easy going and came back with our edited photos well before the timeline. Pricing was very reasonable, even with a rush order fee! Everyone that received a headshot was absolutely over the moon happy with them! HIGHLY recommend Black Mill Photography, we will definitely use them again!

We recently worked with April for a branding session for a new music project and we could not be happier! She perfectly captured the vibe we were going for, and made three musicians with different tastes VERY comfortable. We were the first to shoot in her newly renovated studio space and she was extremely creative in her management of us and the room. We can't wait to use her services for future sessions!

Can’t imagine having any other photographer on the planet for our big day. April is truly one of a kind. Not only is she a creative and talented photographer, but she also excels at helping keep a chaotic and stressful day organized and calm. The fact that it was absolutely down pouring on our wedding day and yet we still have so many incredible and memorable photos says a LOT. We will definitely be using April in the future for any other big life events!

If I could give 100 stars instead of just 5, I would! Both my fiance and I are musicians, and we actually found April through another music friend who has worked with her many times for promo shoots and album cover work.
