I hired Black Mill Photography for my March 20, 2026 wedding and paid in full. My contract stated that gallery proofs would be available within 8–12 weeks. As of 10/06/2026, nearly seven months after my wedding, I have not received a single photograph. I contacted the photographer multiple times, and the last time I heard from Black Mill Photography was through email on 7/08/26, when I was given another unmet promised delivery date. Five stars aren't enough for April's talented work! Her passion and enthusiasm inspired and encouraged me to become a small business entrepreneur through her branding photo session. She made sure she understood exactly what I wanted and how I wanted the photos to turn out, through Zoom meetings and text conversations prior to the session. All the photos came out beautifully, beyond my expectations. I highly recommend her and will definitely work with her again.
April is a MUST for your branding, events, and any type of party you could have! We first hired Black Mill for our website shoot. The brand was new, we trusted her with our vision, and not only did she "get it," she absolutely crushed it! Then she captured beautiful images at our open house. Lively, real, everything intentional and on brand. She's a ton of fun to work with. Not hesitant to direct and focused on getting the shot...which she always does. We 1000% recommend Black Mill Photography for your team!!
April was SUPER friendly, and made the whole experience soooo easy. I went in nervous, and left feeling on top of the world! Her studio is beautiful, and classic... 10/10 would DEFINITLY recommend!
April's studio is warm and inviting and has some interesting artwork. She made the session easy and relaxing as I am not a picture person.
