Would never do business with this bank. He is dead and we were told that if we close a checking account, any automatic payment withdrawl attempts that are made by companies set up for auto payments, we would be assessed fees. I have never had a problem with any banks threatening this upon closing a bank account. Isn't the account closed? How can an attempted withdrawl cost anything? My Uncle is dead, how do we know which companies he is set up for auto payments
