I am visiting from across the country and ran into bad weather on the way so my funds were running low and I had a gallon size ziplock bag full of change and went in to cash it in for gas. I am not a member and I have an amazing bank where I live so I am not used to being treated so rudely at a bank. by far the worst credit Union I've ever been to or ever used. customer services atrocious. absolutely terrible interest rates. and never mind the app won't even get into that. Northern hills is much better all around.
I’m disappointed with my recent experience at BHFCU. I was told to sign a form for a loan update that included wording about “satisfying” the loan, and I was given an explanation that the form supposedly meant “close or satisfy,” even though the word “or” was not written anywhere on the document. That’s not how legal documents work. Since I never received a call back with an update, I called again, and the employee sounded annoyed and said another department would review the form, but not for weeks.
