Most people may know this place from the TV Show they did. We had family from Pretoria South Africa come to Virginia and visit. We took them there not knowing they knew the show. They were so amazed that they were actually at the store that helped start the reality show. They took pictures and a couple of the pics were with some of the staff. They were texting their family and friends while we shopped saying "check this out, we're at Black Dog Salvage" "In Virginia !!" Pretty amazing, and shows how small our world really is... read more
This place is incredible! Not only architectural salvage, but artwork, one of a kind curios, giant stain-glass windows from old churches, even live-edge slab tables and ready to finish live-edge slabs. My only grip is that some things are "consignment" from other dealers, and, thus, a bit pricey.
This place is huge! Our first time in Roanoke and looking for fun shopping for the day. We had a great time and each found some really unique things.
