Black Box is a great payroll provider specializing in small business accounts. Unfortunately some clients do not pay their bills and leave skipping out on multiple months of service (see Jody Torre) then expect priority service for free when they need something. As with any business, payment is required to receive service.
Used their service for years without issue. Opted to change to a different payroll company because of growing business opportunities at the beginning of this year. Needed to call to get a copy of the payroll record filed for Q4 2014 and owner is not willing to cooperate. Said he would get to it when he can. When I asked when that would be he responded by saying "I don't know."....not a nice way to respond to a client who always paid their bill and simply decided to move on.
