I've been following Black Belt Home Decor for a few years, at least, and when we moved to our new home I found myself in need of window treatments. Doshie did not disappoint! Inspired by a vintage fabric that I saw on her site, I looked far and wide for that same (discontinued) fabric, bought the last 8 yards that someone had on eBay, and shipped it to her, along with my vision for our kitchen and dinette areas. Doshie just completed 6 gorgeous valances for me! I can't stop admiring them! Her work is so professional and you can tell she took a lot of care creating my valances. I've never had valances custom made before, so Doshie also did some hand holding with me. She had great suggestions and she's very quick to answer emails and the phone! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Doshie. She was easy to work with, super responsive, and patient with my questions. But the best part was the finished project. Doshie does beautiful work. Every seam, every pleat, every binding is just beautifully sewn. The fabric patterns are carefully placed and just look so professional.
