BJU Press works, plain and simple — my kids perform well with it. The structure is straightforward: watch a video, then complete the corresponding textbook/worksheet work. It's less reading-heavy than Abeka and feels more like a traditional school structure. It covers the core subjects and Bible well, though course options are limited, so we supplement with outside electives for the areas we want our kids to focus on beyond BJU. Beautiful campus, and very friendly staff!
They are an excellent biblically based all-in-one curriculum that has stood the test of time. We are in our 4the year of using it, and the 3rd year we buy two whole year grades (video based). The Homeschool Hub is very useful and easy to use, which has made planning and checking all my kids work so easy to check!
