We just finished an incredible trip from Cairns to Perth traveling 11,000km! Bivouac was the biggest reason for this perfect trip! From the easy pickup and drop off to the well laid out truck; it couldn’t have gone any better! Hot showers every night, comfortable pop up tent, refrigerator, and the incredible Outback!!
We rented a Hilux with two rooftop tents from Bivouac Adventures for a one-month trip from Darwin to Brisbane via the Savannah Way — around 6,000 km of incredible Australia! What a trip it was, and what a beautiful rig we got! We received a brand-new 2026 Hilux equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable adventure. Hired for 35 days good car well equipped great support with minimal problems and we traveled the canning stock route
We spent a month Red Dirt touring the outback.what a fantastic trip!. The Toyotas were great. they had everything we needed except free beer.The rooftop tents worked great especially when I put the spare mattress provided in it .suspension was surprisingly good and we got satellite internet nearly every where we went. Insects loved Kiwi blood so be aware and use lots of spray!
Our vehicles, 3 of them, were well presented and the pre trip briefing was informative and full of useful information. We traveled just under 10000 KS and the trucks held up well under all types of conditions. The starlink internet was brilliant and very reliable given a clear view to satellites and it kept us in touch with home. Thanks for enabling some wonderful memories Bivouac Adventures!.
