Bison Books

Bison Books is a friendly and busy open shop, specializing in antiquarian and quality secondhand books. We are located in the heart of downtown and maintain a curated and fresh selection of 20,000 well-organized books. We have a wide selection, but particularly enjoy classical studies, local history, Indigenous, art, fine bindings, antiquarian, first editions, ephemera, and anything else that we think is interesting or unique or likely to make someone smile. We also conduct appraisals and work on collections development. We are proud members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of Canada, and affiliates of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, and we adhere to their code
