I was laid off six months ago and we've been blessed to be able to get food from the storehouse since. Please don't take this as being ungrateful. However, the hours being so incredibly limited are like pouring lemon juice on a papercut. I miss having a fulltime job because then my work was limited to 40-45 hours/week. Trying to find a job in this market is so many more hours, but it's unpaid. Every job I apply to has well over 100 applicants, so I'm having to put in significantly more legwork to try and get noticed per job ... read more
