This person was hired by my parents to do an inspection before they bought a house. They are elderly and could not make the trip from Colorado to look at it themselves. He was recommended by the realtor which I believe is not proper business practice he missed broken windows and doors which are expensive to fix and could have been dealt with before the sale happened. Chuck did a very thorough inspection of a house we were looking to purchase. Took his time, carefully explained any concerns, very knowledgeable about construction changes to the building codes over time. Would definitely use him again!
This Inspector's many terrible failings made a disaster for us. My wife and I knew the house the Realtor showed us to buy needed some repairs, but we are not tradespeople and home experts, so we relied upon this Inspection service to find significant defects. Chuck Bishop goes the extra mile in making sure the home is in good condition, or explaining what it needs. He came back to the house we bought to make sure there was no oil tank buried and possibly leaking into the soil. We'll use him again on our next home!
