As we approach five and a half years at Glenwood Place, I would like to say that moving here was the best decision we could have made. I moved to Washington from Nebraska about 7 years ago to be near my daughter and her family. She looked at several places for me to live, and I am so glad she chose Glenwood! It is such a nice place to live, everyone is so nice and there is always something to keep me busy. Even with this virus going on, they are going out of their way to make us comfortable and busy. Ya Glenwood!
Don't show true reviews on Facebook. My partner has sent flowers to her mother and wants confirmation that they are delivered. Met with rude arrogent responses from reception. 2 days ago the flowers were sent. Totally unacceptable.
I would NEVER place a loved one here. The staff are over worked, because they are always understaffed and management is very Unprofessional. The food is Horrible, served cold, and is visually unappealing. Even if it is served on time, it never comes in fresh. It's as if they cook it all at once then leave it out until it's time to serve. Most meat comes VERY DRY and they though some sauce or gravy on it. The place is falling apart. There are "soft " spots on the 2 nd and 3 rd floors.. I do completely reccomend Mcloughlin Place Senior Living. I have been here as chef for nearly 6 years and we always do every single thing that we can to accommodate our patrons to the best of our abilities. This pandemic has skewed everything in our lives. A wonderful place to work. I was able to work at Sierra Ridge the last year and a half, and I was glad I did. Working with our residents was the most fulfilling work that I have ever done. Joyce, Lynda, Jen and the rest of the management staff really care about the residents, and have their best interests at heart. Every job has its ups and downs, but the caregivers give their all to try and make the residents comfortable and happy. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a special place for their loved ones.
