TERRIBLE!!!! I would not put my DOG in Mrs. O'Neill's pre-k class. There is something very wrong with her. Several parents have already complained, but they refuse to do the right thing. We should all go and picket at the school. It is a shame that we have to go to a website to post our feelings. After my dealings with Mrs. O'Neill I was very depressed. She is an awful person. I do not know what motivates her. I guess since her son had ADD and other issues, she thinks she is giong to save everyone else. Someone must have giv... read more
I Love My School! Bishop Dunn is a great school and I should know, I go there. Unlike some of the kids in my class, I did not start here until 2nd grade, but all of the kids in my class that did go here in pre-k and kindergarten say Mrs. O' Neill was great!!!! I'm now in 7th grade and definitely still want to go here until 8th. I love BDM's teachers, academics, and especially activities like basketball, Drama, Choir and brownies (its like a younger version of Girl Scouts). I'm currently in Basketball and Drama, they're both ... read more
PreK was Stressful I did not appreciate the heavy handiness of this class. My son was stressed out. He was intimated by the teacher, who would get mad at him if he did not know how to open the milk container or if he opened it at the wrong end. Beware that eating too slow is also prohibited. When I spoke to the teacher she did not show any sensitivity, she just stated in an annoyed tone that he needed to be independent for this class. I expressed my concern to the princiopal. He was very flippant about the matter and I felt ... read more
A+ for BDMS Bishop Dunn was my home for so much of my childhood. I attended from Kindergarten until 8th grade, as well as a camper and eventually employee of Summer Fundamentals. Now as I look back at my elementary, high school, and 4 year university--all of which were Catholic, I can strongly say that Bishop Dunn instilled values in me that followed me throughout my education and now in my career. The environment led me to grow and thrive intellectually, morally, and socially and prepared me greatly for my next chapter. I c... read more

Disciplineary Action Unfair. Bishop Dunn is an ok school if the students are willing to cooperate with the teachers. I always did, but still got in hot water, mainly thanks to the antics of the other students. One teacher stated clearly that it was against the rules of all schools for students to say they were innocent when punished or reprimanded as part of a group. That lying about being guilty and refusing to defend yourself were two perfect ways to respect your elders. I hated that rule, but decided to obey it just to be... read more

I am Mrs. O'Neill's BIGGEST fan!! I hate to see all these posts about Mrs. O'Neill. I have had her for 2 years for both of my sons. I was able to step back as a parent and observe my children from her viewpoint.. and not as a mother.. where sometimes we see EVERYTHING as unfair to our kids. Mrs. O'Neill has the objective to push the kids to their own personal limits so they can feel the sense of accomplishments for doing a task well done. She lets THEM know they are capable of SO MUCH MORE! And whether you liked her or not, ... read more
