Revised review-I have to say, after my visit here last week, I can no longer give this business 5 stars. It’s so sad because I grew up going to this theater and have always loved it. On 8/25/26 I took my daughters to see a movie here. We were at screen 6. The seats were so filthy and worn down. When we reclined the chairs there was popcorn everywhere under them. I had a nice time here with family and friends. Went to see Spa Weekend. Five friends treated our give moms. The movie was great! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean. The lower rating is due to the seats. We were in auditorium #4 which is small but it was fine. However, the faux leather seats were peeling so bad. We all had bits of the seats on the back of our clothes. We had a party 10ppl by the way. I'm just glad it didn't leave a stain.

Last night, I came here for the first time. I'm originally from Troy, but decided to make the trip because the movie I saw wasn't available in the movie theatres that are in closest proximity to my home. Because Birmingham 8 was the only venue in Oakland County playing what I wanted to see, this was the location for me that was most convenient. Overall, my experience here was fairly good. Just because a theater is old, doesn't mean it has to be dirty. I felt like I had to shower when I got home.
