My husband and I just watched "Ned and Nancy"- A fun show with a great message of the ups and downs of a long marriage. It was quite applicable to our own lives!
Wasn’t what my husband and I were expecting. We just saw Ned and Nancy. Not trying to be negative, but have to be honest. It was really boring and not worth $50 a ticket by any means. Felt more like a cute church play. Commendable efforts connecting with the older generation. Just not the laugh out loud kind of comedy we anticipated. So maybe if you’re 60+ it’s a better fit. We were just bored and almost left in the middle of it.
Theater was small, but cozy. Seats were comfortable and it looked as though everybody had a good view of the stage. The production was family friendly, good clean fun, no off color humor. It was surprisingly entertaining for a small amateur show. And the buffet upstairs was excellent. Honestly we came here with low expectations because the price was so reasonable for the show and buffet combo, but truthfully it was very enjoyable. The staff were all exceptionally friendly too.
I went to see the Christmas Candy Caper show and it was excellent. The acting and music exceeded my expectations. All the performers were top notch and the lady in the main role sang like an angel. I was happily surprised with this fast paced 90 minute musical and I recommend it 100% if you are in the Lancaster area.
These shows are like the Hallmark Channel of theater. They are wholesome, funny, serious...all rolled into one. My tag line for this place is: small stage, big talent. Thank you all. I'm kind of hooked at this point. Great job! I saw the Christmas Candy Caper most recently.
