My little man arrived just 3 weeks ago and I was lucky enough to have Heather as my Doula. I so appreciated having someone to reach out to during my pregnancy. I was a first time mom, doing it on my own, and one of the first of my friends/family to be taking a more natural/holistic approach to pregnancy and birth. From the start Heather would get back to all my text and emails within 24 hours and most of the time within an hour or two. If I had a weird feeling or was worried over something she was always there to comfort me and reassure me that everything was okay and would explain what I was feeling. I was so lucky to have met Heather! She came to my house to let me borrow a Hypno Birthing book (out of the kindness of her heart) I did not even know she was a Doula. We started chatting (as women always do) and she told me she was a Doula after I mentioned I was looking for a Doula for my birth. We hit it off really well and I asked her if she was available. I was pleased to hear that she was!!! I had excess fluid during my pregnancy which means you have early contractions. I went to the hospital too early and Heather still met me there.
