This place is a joke and whoever answers the phone, an older gentleman, has no customer service skills. My wife purchased two Groupon vouchers for a bi-plane ride for me and my dad early in the year 2018, called to redeem them when my dad was in town and the guy was pissed off that we had Groupon vouchers and said “I am going to go broke with all these Groupon vouchers!” He then said his plane was down for inspection and he couldn’t take us. We chose to take the biplane ride for my husband's 75th birthday. He loved it. We were not offered in photos and had no input from the pilot. But our ride was super smooth with the best take off and landings. My 8 year old granddaughter also loved the experience.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Matt Whorton was the perfect pilot/host to calm nerves and let me enjoy the flying experience! I was terrified of flying small planes before, but Matt made me feel at ease and I talked me through his every move. It is something I will treasure forever!
Bill and I had such a Great adventure, and will do it again.
Since the sale of the business, nothing is as advertised. Repeated scheduling changes/issues. No "soft" flight helmet. No goggles. No videos. No photos. No aerobatics. Save your money.
We scheduled a long awaited Bi-Plane Adventure for my mother-in laws 70th birthday. It was an adventure in frustration on multiple levels. We arrived with camera in hand 30 minutes prior to scheduled take off. Our excitement immediately disappeared when we were told the plane had left 10 minutes earlier( which was 40 minutes before the contracted time). We had an absolute blast!! Greg loved his aerobatic flight! He says he will be back for another ride soon! Then our sunset flight was also the best! Lee was an awesome pilot, funny and great tour guide around the city! Then to top it all off we had an amazing meal and great experience at Elevation Chophouse! We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends!
Lee is a fine host and pilot. The Waco is a treasure in which to fly, and Lee's piloting provides that rare opportunity to sit quietly and realize we are a small part in a big world. Terri and I enjoyed an early AM flight up north, dancing between clouds and sun. Lee provided just enough input to let us know what was going on, and let us enjoy the experience.
