What a great shop. The owner is so friendly, inviting and made our stop here one of the most memorable moments in Tasmania. The biltong and Drywors was honestly the best we’ve had. Couldn’t recommend it more. You have to make a visit
So glad we found this amazing little shop in Margate! Super friendly service and the Biltong is absolutely delicious. Generous taste tests were offered to us. Special mention of the fudge as well. Seekers of authentic SA fudge/Russian Caramel/Tablet - this is your place!!! Perfection! Make this a must-stop on your trip. Such a fun concept being in a train as well.
If you like biltong then you simply must stop in here. Tasty and reasonably priced, we make a point of dropping in here when travelling in this region. It’s the first carriage of the Margate Train and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He also sells a range of other products, so it’s well worth the trip to check it out. Delicious biltong and jerky! Reasonably priced and friendly service by the owner. You can tell how much love and pride the owner puts into his store. Highly recommend
Had a fantastic time in the store! The owner, Jacques, was incredibly generous in allowing us to try all the varieties of biltong he produces and also in his time he spent chatting discussing a myriad of topics. An impeccable shop run by an impeccable man, will be back the next time I'm in Tasmania!!
