Mr. Bilinkas' legal judgement as defense lawyer saved his client, Michael Barisome, from suffering a guilty verdict of lesser offense. Had he agreed to include lesser offense during jury charging conference, it would have given jury an easy way out and deliver a guilty verdict of lesser offense.
