We just got a bike today. On top of all, we loke how friendly and genuine they are. We had previously tried to buy a bike there, but we couldn't find a good fit at the time. We were amazed how they actually took time to explain everything and help us find out what would be a good fit for us. So we requested to be contacted if they had any suitable bike at any point. I’m brand new to cycling and was in search of not only a place to service my (new to me) bike, but also a place to purchase a new bike at a different size. I sent an email to all 3 bike shops in Bloomington and the Bike Smith was not only the ONLY shop to respond, but responded with friendliness and the recommendations I was looking for. Can't express how tight the workmanship is and my turn around time . I screwed up my spokes on a vintage 1984 bianca racing bike. They had it fixed in no time to perfection at a cost I was very pleased with. Thanks guys ,see you again any problems . high recommendations from Joel Chandler Chandler tile and marble ..
Took a 12 year old bike in for a tune up and it's riding like new! I also really appreciate that they didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need---I asked if I should get a complete overhaul (because my bike had not been maintenanced in 12 years), and they said they didn't think it would be necessary, and that it was three times the price.
