Wow, it is permanently closed. Just went by there right now. Too bad! George and his shop helped make the East Village a good neighborhood--people helping each other and the environment. Miss you George!

They buy & sell stolen bicycles at this local bike shop! Owner was caught on video & audio tape on Dateline! Dirt bags like this need to feel to squeeze...out of the City. I prefer Landmark Bicyles or NYC Velo anyhow.
He fixed my flat tire in less than ten minutes and charged a very fair price. Ask him about his history, awards, and love for cycling. Check out his frame of awesome in the back corner.
