I visited Valemount while on holiday with my family in August 2025. As a keen mountain biker in the UK, alongside my children, we wanted to try some mountain biking while in Canada. Valemount BIke park was awesome. I cycled with my youngest daughter so took it relatively easy while my two eldest chidren went on some more adventurous trails. Jeff was very kind, thoughtful, and attentive with my bike repairs. He shared his knowledge with me and explained exactly what repairs were made. Rentals are also are available here!
Jeff is super nice and very helpful. Very cool little store. I was very happy he could get me in on short notice and have me back ridding that morning. CAUTION: I have no doubt the service is thorough, however the price is about three times the cost of most shops. I had brought in new rims to mount the tires, rotors and cassettes and he charged $185 for this and we brought one of the tires already off the rim. The new rims were laced and ready to go. What an amazing and dedicated boss is in the shop! After getting some "advice" from a few local bikers at the nearby bike park, we met Jef at his Bikes & Bites store. The Trek bikes he provided were perfectly maintained and checked down to the last millimeter. Jef's advice to take a different, more "relaxed" route turned out to be perfect for us Dutchies. Mountain biking in Canada is a world of difference compared to our flat little country.
Unique place for a great rental and enjoy the Valemount bike park! Jeff is very dedidcated and passionate about bikes( you will have a lot of fun. Thanks
