Had good experiences in the past but the current staff is completely ignorant about bikes
Huge shoutout to Justin at The Bikefactory — absolute legend! I popped in to grab a new tube for my bike tire, thinking it’d be a quick in-and-out. But Justin made the whole experience not just easy, but actually fun. He asked if I had the tools to fix it myself and I just smiled and said, “I don’t think so… I kinda just popped it off with my fingers.” Without missing a beat, he grinned and said, “Well, we can help you with that.” And he did! If you want something nicer than Walmart. But still a bargain, because the quality and value is excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Customer satisfaction is priority. Still a local family owned business. And has been in business over 40 yrs. I highly recommend this place.
Stay away! Was so excited to buy a new Trek bike from them, but it’s been beyond frustrating. I made a purchase agreement with Natalie or Nadine, and we agreed that I will pay the amount when I’m back in town in 7 days without any price change, since they don’t accept payment over the phone. Then when I came back exactly 7 days later I talked to JayJay who told me the price is now increased by 25% snd they won’t the agreement even thought they explicitly told me they would.
