I have rented bikes at other bike shops on other Hawaiian islands. What makes Bikeworks different is their friendly, helpful attitude and good selection of high quality bikes. Other shops have this "I know better than you" attitude no matter who you are...but not here! The mechanic who set up my bike was super friendly and interesting to talk with. An inquiry online was answered promptly. The only thing these guys can't do is get the Big Island winds to calm down!
Great selection of high end road bikes for rent. Great location for a ride with 18 miles without a traffic light if you head south and wide shoulders. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. If you are in the area and like to bike, rent a bike here and go for a ride! You will not be disappointed.
Great LBS with highly experienced mechanics & fantastic support of cyclists & cycling. It inspired us to splurge on his & hers jerseys. Maikaʻi loa !!
Great Service. The bikes were well Serviced. Make sure you have a carry bag and good bike shorts.
Great bike shop for all of your cycling needs. I rented a bike to cycle up Mauna Kea, and they had everything else I needed for my ride as well. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. Lots of local experience and great advice from the staff, especially about some very nice rides in the area.
