I'm riding coast to coast and the rough roads and carrying panniers had taken the life out of a set of gator sling tires. I had 2 flats just after entering Kansas from Colorado. Randy and Jeremy installed a pair of Armadillos on my trusty bike, Hidalgo. I feel confident that I will problem free for another 1300 miles or more! Great work from knowledgeable people.

I traveled to Garden City on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in advance of the 41st Biking Across Kansas event. I contacted owner Randy Bartel by Gmail a few days earlier to inquire whether he could reassemble my bicycle, as I had to take it apart to transport it via Greyhound bus. Mr. Bartel was quick to reply and candid about the prospect of his team servicing my bike Thursday or Friday because of his full slate of customer appointments and anticipated walk-in traffic because of BAK2015. I was cycling across the country with my doggy, Fiji. Unfortunately, my bike was fell out of a truck while in transport and sustained great damage. If not for Randy working with my bike and waiting on the county to pay for repairs, I wold not have been able to continue my journey. Not only did he restore my bike, but he improved upon it. I can tackle the Rockies with no worries!
