I found Stu based on all the reviews here and they are not overstated. He's a gem. I've never had anyone work on my bike with the level of care and expertise as Stu. Prices are better than fair.
Got a flat tire in Lynn and wasn’t sure how I was going to get home. Took my bike to Stu and he had me in and out with a new inner tube in 15 minutes. Genuinely seems to love bikes and people and provides fantastic service for a great price
Stu is the man! He went to town on the two beach cruisers owned by my wife and me, and taught us a lot in the process. He did a thorough job and did not rest until a brake issue was fully resolved. We came away with a much better understanding of routine care and maintenance. He even showed us the proper way to load a bike into the car!
I googled bike repairs and Stu’s name came up. Called him made an appointment to replace my brake pads. I do about 70 miles of riding a week so my bike gets a lot of wear. Stu went above and beyond my expectations. I left with my bike better than when it was new. So impressive. When he gave me my bill I felt that I was taking advantage of Stu for the work he did on my bike and I knew that he spent more time on charged me such a low price, his knowledge on bike repairs is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about Bike Fixer Stu! He knows his business and does a great job! Very personable and knowledgeable. My husband and I failed miserably at assembling a folding electric adult trike and Stu got it sorted and repaired in a jiffy at an extremely reasonable price. He also gave me a great lesson in how to operate it safely, how to fold and unfold it, and even the best and easiest way to load into my SUV for transport. I’d recommend Stu over any and all others.
