As A family of 5 with little experience. Our guide Kristin was amazing! She gave us history about Moab on the drive. On the Trails she never rushed us. We were exhausted but my one child wanted to go on another trail she took him. We did everything last minute and changed times multiple times they had no problems switching. The bikes were amazing too! A wonderful experience and so thrilling!
My self and my two teenage sons booked a guided tour of the Raptor route and it was great! The bikes included were really nice Cannondale Habit's and whoever does their tuning put alot of love into them. Our guide, Kristen, was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and just plain fun to ride with. I've been mtn biking most of my life and my boys are really fit, but I admit that, when I booked it, I forgot that Moab 'intermediate' is on a whole different scale. If you are a road biker you won't be tucked in here. You will have to repeat many times that you are a road biker. You won't get the lock you asked for. The directions to the bike bath had me lost for 45 minutes, 45 minutes in the cool morning when you want to get started. Finally someone else in the store gave me better directions. Ironically no one seemed to know that the the easiest root to the bike bath was straight down the street. Good luck!
