I was biking on the trail near Hurdman Station when my bike tire suddenly deflated out of nowhere. Alex noticed I was stopped on the side of the trail and immediately stopped to ask if I was okay. He took the time to help me fix my tire and patch the tube, all while teaching me how to do it myself. During the repair, he also told me about Bike Co-op Vélo and all the resources and support they offer to cyclists. BEST place in Ottawa to bring your bike for you to service - learn maintenance and basic mechanics - in a clean and airy fully stocked workshop. The friendly students who staff the shop will help you and teach you (if you need it), and there's NO COST other than parts you may need to buy. Anything from a quick repair to a full rebuild.
Alex was super kind and helpful! Very patiently taught me how to do it myself. Best bike repair ever, never going anywhere else again.
