This place has a mix of staff some are lovely, others are rude and unhelpful. Security /bag checks are over the top.
Update (08/25) They've updated some of the fitout, but it hasn't really made that much of a difference. Tbh, if you wrent a regular, see my original comment below. If you are a regular, then it's now harder to find things and they've reduced a number of lines and moved stuff around. Original comment: This store has been in this location for decades! Big W – Woden – 17th August 2025 - 1.45pm I wanted to provide some feedback on your staff member who was working in the party section on this day. I needed to purchase particular party items, and while the next option was a 45-minute drive to Queanbeyan Spotlight, that is what I eventually did, because I was really put off by the conversations I overheard from the staff member.
