Not one register open with staff on, 3 of the customers in line including myself wanted a register with a person. I had an overflowing trolley of goods that would never fit the self checkout. 2 other older customers requiring assistance and 2 other self checkouts going off needing the supervisor. When I kept questioning opening a register or getting assistance to put through at a self checkout the supervisor was less than helpful. She was overwhelmed with customers needing assistance. I had a really great experience at Big W recently. I arrived just 20 minutes before closing time and needed help with an inflated helium balloon. Even though it was close to the end of their shift, Lou and Cherry assisted me straight away without any hesitation. They were both friendly, efficient, and went out of their way to get everything done for me at the last minute. Their excellent customer service really made a difference, and I truly appreciated their help. Thank you, Lou and Cherry, for going above and beyond!
