Racist staff! Diane and Jess the ‘senior’ staff should be ashamed of themselves! Go back and train your staff how to approach customers. Because we are coloured and not white we were told to leave the shop just because we were trying out which ball my daughter wanted. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Big W store. I stood at the front counter for over 10 minutes, clearly visible to multiple staff members, yet no one acknowledged me, offered assistance, or attempted to address my concerns. Unfortunately, this issue has not been resolved, despite my efforts to seek help. The staff’s attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, which made the experience very frustrating. This is by far the worst experience I have had at a Big W store in Australia.
The girls working in the “Party” section on 9th May showed absolutely no empathy and were extremely impatient. One of them even rolled her eyes right in front of me. However, her attitude toward people of the same ethnicity as her was completely different. It’s hard to imagine that a large retail chain like BIG W would hire someone with such a rude attitude and apparent racist behaviour to work in the “party” section.

The store was a complete mess. i took my son to get a surprise for a little mood boost. (He is an autistic non verbal with down syndrome). he has done really well with not peeing his pants or the bed. i just wanted to get a nice toy for my cut little 14 year old. he is the sweetest boy i have ever given birth to. anyways it was super dirty and i came back 2 hours later to find a messier store like the people dont care about it and i just felt bad as he was being overstyimulated by the counters bleeping. 0/10 would NOT reccom... read more
