Da dolphin was great! Im 6ft3 and still had enough room four a couple days. Shower was hot and well needed for the sand. Made coffee ( a most) on the stove by the ocean. Drove that UNIT all around the island no problems easy to drive. Doug was awesome and his map was super useful. Can't wait to come back and try one off the 4x4 he has coming up. Highly recommended
1000% recommend Dug’s campervans to anyone looking to experience all of Big Island’s untouched majestic beauty. I’ve rented a lot of campervans and Dug’s van was hands down my favorite. The exterior looks like a local van so great for blending in, but the interior had everything we needed, including several charging ports, a fridge, and a HOT shower. We had a wonderful time renting the Da Dolphin camper van for our trip to Hawaii Island. Booking was easy, and Doug was very responsive and helpful, especially as it was our first time visiting the island. He provided great tips and guidance that made our adventure smooth from start to finish. Had an amazing experience with Dug and Big Island Campers. Can’t recommend enough. The van build outs are great it’s easy to get to from Kona airport and Dug is super easy to communicate with. Going to rent again if we can. Best way to explore big island!!! We even watched Kīlauea erupt from the back of the van.
