Pick and drop off were easy. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Good explanation of vehicle. We would highly recommend this company.
We cruised on Norwegian Pride of America and stopped for one day in Kona. While there, we rented two buggies from Big Island Buggy. We had a GREAT time touring around Kona in the buggies! Each buggy could hold four people, which worked for our party of seven. We drove all around Kona, including stops at Kona Joe's and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park. Aaron and Kurt were great! They provided some tips and suggestions for driving routes and places to visit. This made for a very nice port stop in Kona!
We had a great time with our buggy. The owners brought the buggy straight to us at the pier gave us a wonderful map and told us great sites to go see everybody stopped to look at us driving around. We’ve even had a few people asking where They could rent theirs they were a lot of fun. I would definitely recommended. It was a great way to see Kona.
These buggies were a blast! We rented 4 of them for 4 hours and did an amazing loop through South Kona, to lunch at Shaka Tacos, the farmer’s market, the Coffee Shack with a deck with amazing views, past cows, jungle, the Painted Church, the Captain Cook monument and the beach. An epic way to spend Father’s Day with our 6 kids. Aaron and Debi could not have been nicer or more helpful. Highly recommend!
We rented a Big Island Buggy yesterday and had a great time! The car is manual transmission, but she ran great. We laughed so hard. I would highly recommend having extra sunglasses for the back seat riders. Also; we booked it many months in advance as they do sell out. The communication from Aaron and Debi was excellent! Aaron met us at the hotel directly across from the pier. We spent the day at Lava Lava Beach. I believe it was 50 miles total. We spent $6.50 to fill it up.
