What great way to see the dessert and learn a little about the area. I can't say enough about Armando and Duck, the wranglers that got us saddled up. They are a hoot and kept us smiling and laughing. Unfortunately Armando didn't make the ride but we were in great hands with Duck. He knew his history of the area, is quite the photographer, and even took care of my wife when she began to overheat. 10 out of 10 for the whole operation. We had a great horseback ride guided by Evo through an old mine and up to a ridge with a spectacular view. We saw a coyote and horn frog along the way. The horses were really good for our young kids. Would recommend this stable and Evo, we loved it as part of our trip to Big Bend National Park.
We had such an amazing experience on our horse ride—honestly, it was great from start to finish! Our tour guide, Duck, made the whole thing even better. He was so informative, helpful, and super funny the entire time. Since it was our first horse ride, we really appreciated how comfortable and taken care of he made us feel. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Overall, we loved every moment and would absolutely recommend this experience!
We really enjoyed our sunset ride! The path was beautiful, and the guides Shelby and Brian we very helpful and friendly!
