It has been some time since I had a direct issue here but to be honest, I don't care for light house. I only stayed for my therapist but had issues with the front desk for a time. Mainly that they supposedly had something in the contract I signed when I started here that they can automatically keep and charge a card on file, something I don't even remember seeing. I began seeing Paige Bohart at the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026, and I truly enjoyed having her as my therapist. She genuinely loves what she does, and it shows. She takes great pride in her work, is compassionate, and made me feel heard during our sessions. The only issue we ever had was scheduling. Do not take you family to this place. I took my 3 traumatized children, and myself, to Sandy at Lighthouse, for counseling, and then recommended her to my good friend (who later became my husband) for his daughter. They picked sides, (sided with his ex wife) and excluded my family from counseling after knowing confidential information about our life, and, seeing my kids for several sessions prior to taking my husbands daughter as a patient, they then continue to sneak around to see my husband's daughter, without notifying hi... read more

It is very hard to get an appointment with your child’s therapist. Communication is why I gave this one star. I work as a healthcare professional and I have not been able to talk to my son’s therapist directly in months. This is has been discouraging to me about their services and I feel that it is irresponsible towards parents that want to support their children’s plan of treatment.

I did not receive much to any biblical counseling even though I had requested it. I was really hoping to find counseling utilizing biblical teachings rather than standard talk style counseling I did receive. It was of helpful in someways but if your looking for biblical counseling, I at least didn't see it here.
