I asked to put my boat in to test it so they said fine do what you gotta do I took a dip in the water not knowing there was no swimming allowed, they came down there and said I have to leave unless I buy a fishing permit and I don't even have any fishing poles, I think they are rude.

Bibb County Lake is a great place to spend a day fishing. The folks who run the store are always very friendly and helpful. The bait shop/store is well-stocked with high quality lures and tackle, and the prices are as good as or better than most. The lake is very deep and fishing can be a challenge, but it is well worth spending a day.
