I cannot recommend BGM based on my personal experience. I was a client with the firm for two and a half years, and during that entire time, no meaningful progress was made on my matter. While the team was professional in their interactions, the lack of forward momentum was highly frustrating. For those seeking legal representation, I would personally advise looking for firms that employ lawyers graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) to ensure a higher standard of results.
Kate Graham was absolutely great from the start to finish, she was always so prompt with responses and highly professional through some challenging times. She made me feel comfortable and informed the whole way through what was the hardest life decision I finally decided to make. Thank you Kate you are truly an asset to your profession.
In my personal experience, I do not believe BGM Lawyers acted in a way that reflected fairness, ethics, or the best interests of a child. Their public wording says “lawyers you can trust,” but my experience was the opposite. I felt their involvement helped support a false and damaging narrative that was used against me in family law proceedings and contributed to me being stripped of meaningful time with my daughter.
