Heather is incredible!! She is not only extremely knowledgeable but very kind. She cares deeply for children and being able to see them succeed. Her techniques are approachable and easy to replicate at home. I loved how she was realistic about parenting and had a listening ear. She always took her time with us and we never felt rushed at any appointment. If you’re looking for OT look no further. Her space is clean, she’s easy to get in contact with, and she’s exceptional at her work.
Heather was outstanding with our child. I can’t recommend her enough. Our child was in the NICU for a long stay and came home with some feeding issues due to his prematurity and time on a ventilator. A feeding therapist at the hospital recommended Heather. She counseled us through this difficult time and was able to adapt her advice when our child’s needs changed as he grew. Heather helped us make great progress with our picky eater and premature chewer. After thoroughly evaluating our child she gave us great recommendations/pointers and formulated a plan to get us on the right track….which was achieved a month later!
We started taking our baby to Ms. Heather when he was 9 months old and we were really struggling to get him to eat anything. We were really concerned and frustrated with how much difficulty he was having eating. At our first meeting, Ms. Heather took the time to listen to us and all of our concerns big or small and really helped put our mind at ease. Mrs Heather is truly the most caring OT I have ever met. Our daughter immediately bonded with her. We learned so much and with only a few sessions our child had learned and improved tremendously- she went from eating only yogurt to eating anything and everything she was presented with. Most importantly our daughter now loves to eat and looks forward to being in the highchair. If you need a feeding therapist, I could not hesitate to contact Mrs. Heather. She responds immediately and stays in touch throughout treatment
