Disappointed with the customer service at this BevMo location. The cashier, Michael, didn’t acknowledge us at all no greeting, no basic courtesy. Instead, he kept staring at us like we were doing something wrong, as if we were going to steal something. While ringing us up, he seemed more focused on watching other customers than actually providing us with any kind of service. It felt more like he was playing security guard than cashier. Definitely not the kind of experience that makes you want to come back.
I had gone in there and a young African American guy was helping me. I told him I would be back. I come back there, was a African American lady with glasses up front, I asked her if he was still there. She said rudely No he left already. So I said ok. I came back for a bottle that r behind the counter. She took it out. Scanned it, looked at me like I couldn't afford it, almost a $200 bottle. I said ok let me look around real quick. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share what was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at this store. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, consistently shopping here for my household needs. However, during my recent visit, I encountered an employee whose behavior was shockingly unprofessional and, quite frankly, discriminatory. Had a great time—staff was super friendly and even had some solid drink suggestions (clearly pros, not amateurs). The selection? Let’s just say if you’re into beer, spirits, or wine, you’ll feel like a kid in a very adult candy store. Pro tip: download the app and keep an eye out for deals—especially those glorious BOGO offers. I even stumbled on a stealth deal: a bottle of Angel’s Envy Rye at a price so good I had to check twice to make sure it wasn’t a typo. Cheers to that!
