BHC makes it clear that their Herman Miller chairs are used and refurbished. But for their other brand of chairs, their website states that ALL other chairs sold by them are new. Not true! Mine was heavily used. To make this lie worse, they told me, after I contacted them, that FedEx must've banged it up to make it look used. Really? I went to the 1642 Westwood Blvd address April 29, 2022 and they have closed permanently at this location. I called and you now need to schedule an appointment at their Chatsworth warehouse to try out the furniture. Google, please remove this from the map. Driving there was a complete waste of time and Chatworth M-F is too far away.

I recently paid over $600 for a refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chair. While I saved hundreds, it has a loose ball joint at the base and rocks and "clicks" rather annoyingly as I position myself periodically. I e-mailed them about the issue and asked what their return policy was, and if they could work with me on the problem; they told me that this is perfectly normal for their chairs. on 12/2 a chair was ordered - I received a confirmation indicating "All of our orders are shipped 5-7 days after purchase". On 12/15 (13 days, 9 business days) I emailed customer support asking if there was a status update and was informed they contacted their warehouse and the order would be shipped that day. On 12/21 I received a chair that was not the chair that was ordered, and was not even fully functional. I contacted customer support, was told they would get back to me. That was two weeks ago.
