I filed a complaint on May 11, 2026 against a local financial institution in Pensacola. The BBB took my complaint. But then after wasting my time and doing nothing, Miss Lisa Higgins closed my case without having the courtesy to give me an opportunity to respond. She didn't have the decency to call me first. So, I called her to see why she closed my case. She sent me three message in 2 hours on the morning of May13th, 2026. I didn't read the messages until 10:30 am. Main street property renter my name is Gloria riddle I used to rent for Main Street at 1011 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. I went through the bathroom floor because of termites. My lease was up at 3:28. Instead of now I’m fixing the floor they terminate my lease and then I won’t to renew my lease instead they push me out to move. They did not compromise with me or nothing. I called into the BBB out of curiosity on the Accreditation program. They claimed they get 10,000 inquires a month on individuals reaching out to the BBB to request information on businesses. They talk about SEO - a lot. The only thing making BBB relevant in 2026 is that Google uses the citation for verification. When I questioned paying $300+ a year for it... They insulted me. They said... "If you can't afford this and you are making 'x' a year..." It's terrible.

Staff answering phones need customer service training. Rude and unknowledgeable. Read from a script and became frustrated when asked real world questions.
