Worst experience with a mortgage company i have ever had. We spent over a month getting pawned off from person to person. The monthly loan amount changed 3 different times and we didn't find out until the night before we were finally do to close that they raised our payment by 300 hundred dollars! When we were finnaly able to get a hold of our loan officer the morning of our close, he just says that it looks like they put in the wrong interest rate, and he doesn't know what happened. Terrible experience of being passed around and waiting for any type of responses or updates.
I recently tried to use Better mortgage for a refinance but unfortunately they were unable to help. I even had cancelled with another lender I was working with for promise of a faster closing and better rate. However, after working with Kasey and Alexa, they let me know that they would not be able to proceed because my HOA does not have fidelity/ crime insurance. This problem did not come up with my original mortgage holder or the other lender I was originally working with. I regret switching to Better because they were not ... read more
Terrible experience. The original loan officer was great! Everything after was a nightmare. They have too many people working the loan who seem to not communicate with each other. Multiple people from multiple departments asking for the same documentation from you over and over and over again. The level of incompetence was astounding.
