I was lied to through the entire process of my HELOC. I will be sending in a complaint with the CFPB. They also partnered my loan with a horrible company: Shellpoint. Better Mortgage told me that only $50,000 of my HELOC would be drawn. That was a lie. The entire amount was in my account. Hence, I had to pay interest on the entire amount for weeks. Like countless other reviews note, requesting not to be contacted is completely ignored. Expect an onslaught of calls—no fewer than six per day, starting promptly at 8:30am. Updating your contact preferences online is meaningless; it does absolutely nothing.
Fast and easy way to refinance our mortgage. Bryan and Daniel were great to work with from start to finish! The portal is efficient and easy to complete tasks. AND the loan closed and funded very quickly! HIGH RECOMMEND!!!!
I can see how this company would be of benefit to the right person, but personally, I am not a fan of after speaking to someone, then receiving multiple calls in attempts to convince you to choose this company. I was receiving upwards of 7 calls a day, with Better Mortgage using multiple numbers so they can never be truly blocked.
