First off let me say that I know everyone says not to shop at these puppy stores because they are coming from puppy mills. But that is not the case with this place. I was VERY skeptical about purchasing our first puppy from here so right away i asked many questions. I first asked where she came from and without hesitation they gave me the name, number and address of the breeder that the puppy was purchased from. This store keeps the pups in cages and they don't have any room!! The are also left alone for 13 hours. from 8 PM when the store closes till the morning....way too long for a young pup. This is NOT the way for young puppies to be treated! These pups are from puppy mills. I hope they stop this store from selling animals!!!! There are too many animals in shelters who need a good home. ADOPT , don't SHOP!!!
Much better owners now that its under new mgmt...Best Pet For You...yet puppy prices are wayyyyy too high...$1500 really...just as beautiful pups at rescue places and adoption fees are under $200 considerably!
I bought a Rabbit for my 12 year old daughter and it died the next day and the store refused to help. They sent me to a warranty company and it took them a week to decide to replace the Rabbit. The store told me they got the rabbit from a customer and they did not have the rabbit's health checked, they just sold it without a check up. I asked for my money back and they refused. I would highly recommend getting/rescuing a dog elsewhere. When we first considered getting a dog from Best Pet we saw the poor reviews but ignored them. So, we went to Best Pet anyway and when we mentioned that we were considering a dog one of the employees (more like salesman) told us information that differed greatly once we actually purchased the dog. He said we could get nails trimmed monthly, that the pup had only one more set of shots to get and it would cost about $30 dollars, that a trainer would visit with us and w... read more
