Just returned from a long weekend in Windmill cabin. What an absolutely beautiful place, attention to detail was out of this world and easily the best cabin we have ever stayed in. Quality appliances, wood burner, outside copper tub which was a lovely touch, comfortable beds, rowing boat, paddle board and a very generous garden which was fully enclosed for the dogs. If you book this cottage try and do it through Coolstays (although they are not particularly helpful) and not direct with the host as he suggests. His admin skills and management of his own property are what has left us £300 lighter with no Christmas break. Very poor communication and not clear dates and paperwork. Having used Airbnb for years I can say I’m left in shock really at how this booking turned out. Absolutely beautiful log cabin (Kingfisher wagons) stunning surroundings and great fishing. An abundance of wildlife. The log burner and fire pit were a real treat :) Can’t wait to return 🔥🍁
