Best Buy is good to look, lousy to ask... Whoever has had great experiences with the staff must of been one of the lucky few. Everytime I go there, I always seem to get stuck with one of the "I only work here" teenagers with laughable knowledge of the products in their department. Granted, I do a little internet research on the products I go into Best Buy to purchase. Unless it's one of the computer or audio guys, but really, come on! Best Buy is unprofessional and expensive I have used Best Buy Geek Squad twice and both times they were unable to complete the work that they said they would, promised me my computer would be back on a certain day twice and they "overlooked" it and when they finally told me, "There's nothing we can do" there was no apology, a refund but the customer service was horrible!!!

Best Buy When i went to Best Buy I found what i needed at a decent price. Some of the staff needed better training, but they took care of the problem by getting a higher up member. A little crowded, but overall ok.

good service--reasonable prices When I was looking for a new computer system last February I went to four different stores to get prices. I knew what I wanted after the first store (Best Buy) and was looking for the best price. After being treated to a real cross section of salepeople at the different stores, I returned to Best Buy to purchase because, even though they didn't have the rock bottom best price, they were the best in customer service and I figured that I would probably need help down the road.

helpful and reasonable staff I like this store because they are helpful, they employees seem happy with their job, and not everyone is 20. I needed an upgrade for my computers ram and it is difficult to find. They found it at another chain store and sent me there to buy it. Their concern was that I found what I needed, not that they sold it.

Great for the person who doesn't know! For a person who doesn't keep up with modern technology, Best Buy is a great place to shop. My first adventure in purchasing was in the camera department. The sales staff was very helpful in not only explaining what megabytes are, but how many I needed for my primary usage. In a nearby department; computers, the sales staff were very knowledgeable. My local best buy There isn't anything too extravegant about it but this is my best buy. You walk in and see a big (I mean wall sized ) screen on the back of the building, you know that this is a place for electronics. They have a section for everything electronic. The return area is fairly quick and definitely friendly. my only complaint is there are times that they are sticklers about checking your receipt which is a hassle.
