Their quality is shockingly poor. Their leather headboards and possibly other furniture touted as leather is NOT real genuine leather but from my experience and based on independent expert evaluation, a bonded material that will eventually start to chip and leave the furniture looking ugly. It is very costly down the road to fix the problem. Will never give this brand my business ever again.

I would never recommend Berndardt to anyone. Because their customer service department is completely unresponsive if you have a problem. I purchased a leather sofa. It has some kind of coating on it that makes it very slippery and uncomfortable to sit on. Before trying anything suggested on the internet, I contacted Bernhardt for a solution they would recommend. After two weeks of submitting my question on line twice, and calling and leaving numerous messages, I finally had to give up. They just don’t care.

I would give Bernhardt zero stars if possible! I purchased the leather foster sofa and a matching leather recliner a year ago. Less than a year of average use (not even daily as it is in my living room) the leather has started peeling and showing wear marks (discoloration). I have contacted Bernhardt directly and they have been unresponsive seeming to not stand behind their product. I have included photos in this review, buyer beware!
