I used Bernie to prepare my taxes for four years. Every year I owed money and pressed as to why. After switching to a new preparer it turns out my tax preparations were done incorrectly. I amicably reached out to Bernie to rectify this situation and have been met with insulting comments, no apology, no acceptance of responsibility, a second bout of reassurance that one of the returns was done correctly when it in fact was not, and now a refusal to further assist.
