I bought seeds here a few times, and was glad to have it nearby. Went by today, and the storefront was being vacated. One of the people doing the moving said they're closed for good.

The shop looks nice but I went in recently (Couple weeks ago) and just had the strangest, unhelpful and rude conversation with, who I think is the owner. It's a shame, I asked simple questions, I felt judged and made to feel stupid. Felt like he was annoyed that I even stepped in. Like mentioned in a lower comment. Anyway, won't be going back, I'll just order online despite me trying to shop local. A couple years ago it was better I think, recently it's quite unpleasant.

Poor customer service. Seemed more annoyed by the customer being in store. Was on the phone in the back.

Updated 9/17**. Even this review response from the OWNER was snotty. You guys hassled us even when my family was off your property. Do Better. We came the morning of 9/15 to use the gas station/car wash/ smoke shop parking lot like we have for just about the past 40 years. It was the morning of the Josh Billings race that Great Barrington has put on for almost 50 years.
