I'm giving them 5 stars for damn good reasons. Last year I unexpectedly came into a small fortune and all of a sudden I had to learn to bank like adults do. I started with a credit union. They were great. They were fine. Zero complaints. But since my little Uncle Scrooge tub of gold coins was handled by Berkshire, I figured it wouldn't hurt to check them out too. Update 2022. This branch closed without notifying any customers. You just found out when you arrived to see a temporary closure for staffing shortages on the door. Temporary - you know like 18 months so far. Taped Over the ATM and night drop too. Apparently they re-opened and re-closed sometime in that period, again without notifying their customers. This is one of the worst establishments in the area. They are absurdly inconvenient with the random closings and have some of the worst customer service out there.
They wont let you in the lobby anymore. I had multiple deposits (business acct) that required a human and she refused to let me in. I also needed a ton of change. I was directed to the drive thru where there is also NO HUMAN. I had to leave with no change for the weekend for a busy restaurant they SUCK!!! This is going on a lot of their locations. SEFCU manages to run their banks normally....hmmm, might be time for a change.
Excellent customer service! Hard to find at first but it's the last business at the end - has a big X over the door instead of "Berkshire". They also have a drive up ATM.
